Norwegian political party uses welding scientist as global warming expert

FRP is one of the biggest political parties in Norway. This weekend they’re holding a conference about the ongoing global warming debate and whether or not humans are to blame. For expert witness, they got hold of a Swedish scientist, but they seemingly forgot to mention that welding was his field of interest.

Opposition vs. recognision

It’s a well-known fact that FRP doesn’t believe that the global warming problems are caused by humans. They’ve recently gone out and vouched for the Norwegian government to collect data on all environment scientists stand on the matter, but seeing as they had to get a Swedish welding scientist as expert witness, I guess they results won’t be in favour of FRP’s stand.

Interview

In a radio interview (in Norwegian, and requires popups) by NRK the leader of FRP, Siv Jensen, was confronted on the matter.

She’s trying to cover it up with

We’re just trying to show that there are many different stands on the matter

but one’s gotto wonder why they had to bring a Swedish welder in to weigh to that matter.

the effect of Global Warming these days is even worst. i think every government should pass stricter laws on Carbon Emissions. we should also concentrate more on renewable energy sources and avoid fossil fuels.
